Charlie Chump an All-Canadian Comic Strip, by Harold B. West was a short-lived series. Charlie Chump came about when amateur cartoonist Harold B. West submitted his cartoons to the Toronto Telegram's Comic Art Contest No. 2. My pal Lyn Nuttall pointed out to me how similar this was to Australia's Boofhead by cartoonist Bob Clark. Every country must have one of these head-scratchers to call their own.
